Prabhupada Meditations is a collection of beautiful portraits of ISKCON’s founder-acarya His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada drawn by talented artist Anuradha DeviDasi.Srila Prabhupada is ISKCON’s founder-acarya, the spiritual master, preeminent teacher and ultimate authority within ISKCON and a pure devotee and eternal associate of Lord Krishna. These portraits are based on some of the most well known photos of Srila Prabhupada. Anuradha has captured Srila Prabhupada’s features, expressions, moods, and charisma in a unique way and manages to reinvigorate these wonderful moments. The exhibition coincided with the 50th anniversary celebrations of ISKCON in 2016.

Anuradha Devi Dasi was born in 1961 in Poland as Aleksandra Urbanska. She studied at the Polish art academy and graduated with honours. Anuradha is passionate about art, fascinated with nature, and combines both with her spiritual pursuits. Inspired by the teachings of Sripada Gour Govinda Swami and Sripada Subhag Swami, Anuradha joined the ISKCON center in Barcelona, Spain. Since she first encountered His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada during the Srila Prabhupada Centennial 1896-1996, she has drawn and painted numerous of his portraits. As an itinerant traveller, Anuradha regularly visits India. She has no fixed residence and lives out of her suitcase.
